High-End Medical Technology for Your Skin

Home / Medical Technologies

Research and development in high-end medical technologies for aesthetic medicine have accelerated in recent years. Researchers have developed solutions addressing specific skin concerns that aim to improve overall skin health by using non-invasive or minimally invasive medical devices and technologies.

The reason is the growing demand for cosmetic skin treatments – more and more people are seeking to improve their appearance. People want to maintain their skin’s youthfulness without undergoing surgical procedures.

These advanced non-invasive and minimally-invasive aesthetic treatments improve your appearance without the expense and recovery time from procedures done in an operating room.

The medical technology industry has developed impressive new techniques and medical equipment. These technical advances allow medical and aesthetic professionals at Everyderm to treat patients struggling with a variety of skin problems.

We treat skin concerns such as:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Rough skin texture
  • Sun damage
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Age spots
  • Skin laxity
  • Visible veins

Many of the devices we use also help with the prevention of skin issues. Here are some of the modern technologies we use at Everyderm to help you look and feel fabulous.

Skin Analysis

We use the industry-leading Visia skin analysis system at Everyderm. This system captures and analyses facial images. We also use it for monitoring your progress.

The technology takes the challenges and guesswork out of skin analysis. It allows our healthcare professionals to develop a tailored, targeted treatment plan for you.

It allows us to identify and treat common skin problems such as:

  • Wrinkles
  • Spots and acne
  • Texture
  • Sun damage
  • Tone
  • Enlarged pores
  • Skin reddening

SkinPen

SkinPen is an innovative medical device that uses micro-needling technology to rejuvenate your skin from within. It targets your skin’s natural collagen forming ability. There is no use of heat or chemicals to stimulate this physiological process.

SkinPen treatments at Everyderm can reduce the appearance of acne scars and neck wrinkles. They can also provide overall skin renewal for youthful-looking skin.

Salicylic Chemical Peel

Skin peels involve applying a chemical to your skin that removes dead skin cells and provides deep exfoliation. A salicylic chemical peel has a gentler exfoliating action than other deeper peels.

At Everyderm, we offer a range of chemical peels.

The best peel for your skin depends on skin type and treatment goals:

  • Brighter, smoother skin
  • Treatment for acne and blackheads
  • Reversal of sun damage
  • Reduction in dark spots
  • Treatment for fine lines and wrinkles
  • Correction of an uneven skin tone.

TCA Chemical Peel

A trichloroacetic acid (TCA) skin peel removes dead cells from your skin’s surface and promotes the growth of healthy new skin.

An Everyderm aesthetician can apply this peel to different depths, ranging from superficial to deep. The choice depends on the desired results.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Why is high-end skin technology important?

High-end skin technology helps the team of doctors, nurses and medical aestheticians at Everyderm accurately assess and treat your skin for best outcomes. It allows us to detect issues and personalise your treatments. High-end technology also ensures comfort and safety.

What’s the difference between microneedling and RF microneedling?

Microneedling using a device like SkinPen uses sharp, precise needles to penetrate your skin to a depth of 2mm.  RF needling can penetrate deeper, usually up to 4mm on the face, and the tip of the needles heats.  This deeper heating of tissues means the device tends to tighten and lift.  The more superficial needling of microneedling is better for superficial texture, pores, and radiance.

How do I know which laser or device to go for?

Don’t worry, we will advise on which treatment or series of treatments to consider.  This will be based on imaging, your problems, and whether you can accept some downtime or not.  Whatever your concern, it is likely we will have an excellent solution.  If you are on a membership programme, you can avail of several treatments over time to get the best results.

Our team of highly trained aesthetic professionals will guide you through every stage of the process on your first visit to Everyderm
